About The Team
Corporate IT supports engineering, people, and support across Airwallex. IT Engineering drives technology experiences for product and customers—from collaboration and automation to identity and access management. We design, build, and run the systems and services that enable our teams to build and deliver products.
What You'll Do
Focus on solving problems and fixing issues for our business and IT operations. Build and implement solutions with a strong emphasis on workflows, automation, and orchestration with Legal, Risk, and Compliance, as well as in partnership with broader teams worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary IT engineer for LRC teams, learning and improving their workflows.
* Build workflows and orchestrations that touch many systems across the organization.
* Use low‐code/no‐code tools (Workato, Okta Workflows, Zapier, etc.) to automate tasks.
* Design and implement AI solutions focused on LRC functions.
* Work with APIs across major vendors (Okta, Google, GCP, Aliyun, etc.).
* Develop legal‐specific tools (Harvey.ai, Ironclad, Auditboard, Google Workspace, internal tools).
* Serve as a trusted advisor to the LRC team and the broader IT engineering team.
* Manage and build service desks and orchestrations (Atlassian products, e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
* Own the full lifecycle of features and products—from proof‐of‐concept to implementation and maintenance.
* Handle escalations from other IT teams when relevant.
* Collaborate with INFOSEC, People Ops, Engineering, and other IT teams to build scalable systems.
* Integrate tools with new and existing platforms across our cloud and SaaS portfolio (SFDC, Slack, Google, etc.).
* Build and maintain custom tools or services as needed.
* Respond to incidents as part of an on‐call roster or in emergencies.
* Write documentation and maintain diagrams to ensure clarity and understanding.
* Work with IT Operations and IT Engineering on cross‐functional projects.
* Constantly learn, test, evaluate, and enhance our offerings.
Who You Are
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
* Highly trustworthy and empathetic, handling privileged information with care.
* Autonomous, able to work with minimal direction while maintaining velocity.
* Strong writing skills for technical documentation.
* Expert understanding of identity standards (SAML, OAuth, SSO, etc.).
* Expert knowledge of workflow and orchestration tools (Workato, etc.).
* Experience with programming languages (preferably Python) and infrastructure‐as‐code (Terraform).
* Experience with APIs and integration with common vendors.
* Experience in cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, etc.).
* Understanding of RBAC, ABAC, PBAC, ACLs, and access management principles.
* Experience working with SaaS‐based systems and applications.
* Strong grasp of MDM systems (macOS, Windows; Kandji, JAMF, Intune, etc.).
* Ability to make accurate decisions quickly, even with limited information.
