Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher - Maths/ Science with appropriate tertiary qualifications and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This full-time, permanent position will commence on 21 April 2026.
Salary and incentives
Salary Range: $86,600-$124,725 per annum pending experience + Super

Responsibilities
* Join a supportive team of committed teachers who work collaboratively in partnership with the parent community to create the best possible learning experience for every student.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of contemporary teaching practices and adapt curriculum delivery to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring all students feel included, valued, and confident in Mathematics and Science learning environments.
* In classrooms, inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning through the design and delivery of engaging Mathematics and Science lessons.
* Establish clear expectations, foster problem-solving and scientific inquiry skills, and continually reflect on and refine practice to enhance student engagement and achievement.
* Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress, celebrate individual growth, and provide meaningful feedback to support student learning.
* Support the school's mission, prioritise student safety and wellbeing, and contribute to a welcoming and supportive school culture where every learner feels a strong sense of belonging.
