TheOpportunity Weare looking for Airport Services Officers to join our Airport Teamin Kununurra. This position is responsible for thed eliveryof high-quality customer-focused screening services while creatinga safe and memorable travel experiences for passengers and visitorstransiting through our airport. Your responsibilitiesinclude:
- Toensure the safety, security and integrity of the airport,aircraft and travellers;
- Provideconsistent and standard screening practices to ensuringpassengers and their possessions are checked and clearedaccording to Legislation;
- Efficientlyco-ordinating the flow of passengers through securityscreening;
- Demonstrate effectivecommunication and sound decision-making;
- Controlling access toand exit from security sensitive areas,
- Undertake physicalsearches of passengers and baggage where required;
- Providea consistent high-quality customer service;
- Undertake generalcleaning tasks of terminal amenities and associatedbuildings;
- Maintain a professional level of personal grooming andrepresent the Shire in a professional manner at alltimes.
Certificatell in Transport Security Protection (AV120118);Red AviationSecurity Identification Card and an acceptable National PoliceCheck are essential for this role.
Youwill also need high level of verbal communication skills, abilityto demonstrate excellent customer service in a complex environment,experience of working in highly regulated environment as,experience in the operation of screening equipment, demonstratedability to work autonomously and be part of the team, ability todeal with conflict and achieve resolution, ability ti sustainconcentration level for periods and ability to undertake cleaningairport facilities.
