Occupational Hygiene Technicians & Audiometric Officers; Multiple Roles

We are expanding our onsite Health & Hygiene team and are seeking Occupational Health & Hygiene Technicians to support the delivery of health surveillance, respiratory fit testing, and personal exposure monitoring at a major iron ore operation in the Pilbara.

This is a site-based FIFO role on a fixed roster, offering the opportunity to work within a well-established occupational health and hygiene programme in partnership with a leading mining client. You will be embedded onsite, contributing to a professional, safety-focused environment while gaining valuable hands‐on technical experience.

The role is well‐suited to individuals who enjoy practical field‐based work, value consistency and team culture, and are looking to build a long‐term career in occupational hygiene. You will be supported through structured training and development, with opportunities to broaden your technical capability and grow your career within RED OHMS Group.

Desirable qualifications (full training can be provided)

* Audiometric testing in accordance with the WHS (General) Regulations 2022 and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 (Reg 58)
* Spirometry testing aligned with Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand methodology
* Respiratory protection fit testing using the TSI PortaCount
* Hearing protection fit testing using the 3M EarFit system
* Mine Air Quality Technician (MAQT) training
* LGIRS Hygiene Registered Sampler registration
* Personal exposure monitoring, including respirable dust, respirable crystalline silica, inhalable dust, weld fume, asbestos, diesel particulate, and personal noise dosimetry

We welcome applications from individuals who are technically capable, detail‐focused, and committed to working within a structured rostered environment, regardless of whether they currently hold all listed specialist certifications.

About you

* Full Australian working rights
* Availability and willingness to work a fixed FIFO roster from Perth
* Ability to meet pre‐employment medical and site fitness‐for‐work requirements

You will also bring:

* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across repetitive, high‐volume testing activities
* Well‐developed organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
* A proactive approach to learning and working collaboratively within a team
* Professionalism and reliability, with the ability to work within client procedures, lone‐worker protocols, and strict data privacy requirements
* A positive, solutions‐focused mindset and strong work ethic
* Solid numerical and analytical skills to support accurate data collection and recording
