Responsibilities:
* Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times, ensuring a professional manner when interacting with residents, their representatives, and team members.
* Provide residents with quality personal care including support with personal hygiene, mobility, dining, communication and leisure and lifestyle activities.
* Prioritise workload in consultation with RN/EN and work independently or as a team.
* Administer medication within scope of practice – (must have successfully completed medication administration education).
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or similar Certificate III or higher qualification.
* Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Valid and current Police Certificate.
* COVID-19 vaccinations x 2 and current flu vaccination highly recommended.
* Experience in person-centered support and a willingness to undertake ongoing training.
* Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge and skills in contemporary aged care services.
* An understanding of infection control, WHS and safe work practices.
