OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Solicitor to provide ongoing in-house legal counsel on a complex family law matter.
This equity opportunity involves working closely with a company director on a case involving custody and property settlements.
Experience with child psychology matters will be advantageous.ResponsibilitiesIn-house legal services on a complex family law matter.Lead the case in family law proceedings.Support involvement in a range of commercial matters and general litigation to support a busy finance and investment business environment.Progress to an equity or partnership role as the SE QLD law firm grows.Thrive in a dynamic setting and contribute to legal and strategic objectives of the company.Immediate caseload in litigation and/or transactional matters; autonomy to run matters as you see fit.What Were Looking ForIn-house legal services on a complex family law matter.Admission to practice law in Queensland with current practising certificate.Minimum 5+ (preferably 10+) years post-admission experience with substantial family law expertise.Proven track record in Family Court matters.Demonstrated ability to work independently, support clients, and take instruction.Demonstrated ability to deliver strong results on tight deadlines.High emotional and mental intelligence.Ability to conduct matters strategically and see the angles.Desirable: Queensland Law Society Family Law Specialist Accreditation.Experience with custody matters and complex property settlements.Ability to partner in or lead a firm.Commercial or property law or litigation experience.What We OfferSix-figure base contract (negotiable based on experience).
