You will be working with a reputable mining operator that prioritises its crew and invests in its people, the operation is well-equipped and designed to support both safety and productivity with site features include:

The Role & Duties
Alongside experienced trades you will be working as an underground boilermaker supporting the reliability of a modern mining fleet. The role offers variety and technical exposure within a controlled and well-supported environment.
* Commence in the surface workshop completing fabrication and repair work.
* Progress into underground field service tasks once site competencies are achieved.
* Repairs and maintenance on buckets, trays and structural components.
* Exposure to leading OEM underground equipment including Sandvik, CAT, Normet and Elphinstone machinery.
* Working in line with site safety systems and maintenance schedules.
Travel & Roster
This position offers a structured FIFO arrangement designed to support work-life balance.
* FIFO from Cairns via charter flight.
* Short transfer from airport directly to site.
* 8:6 or 7:7 roster rotating across days and nights.
* Accommodation and meals fully covered while on swing.
Your Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll be a qualified Boilermaker with practical heavy equipment experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
* Certificate III in Engineering (Boilermaker) or equivalent trade qualification.
* Experience working on heavy mobile plant (mining, civil, quarry or similar).
* Bucket and structural repair experience highly regarded.
* Previous mining exposure beneficial but not mandatory.
* Ability to integrate into a team-based maintenance crew.
* Capacity to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance.
