Are you an experienced Registered Manager with a passion for providing high-quality care to young adults with complex needs?
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Manager to lead a specialist care home providing support for individuals with mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and complex care needs. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a highly competitive salary of up to £65,000 for the right candidate.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC standards, and promoting the highest standards of care and support for residents. You will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, oversee care planning and delivery, and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the care home in line with CQC regulations and best practice
Ensure all residents receive person-centred, high-quality care tailored to their individual needs
Supervise, mentor and develop staff members to maintain a positive and professional care culture
Maintain accurate records, care plans, and risk assessments
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, external professionals and stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement and maintain or improve the home's CQC rating
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a similar care setting
Strong background in mental health, complex care, and physical disabilities
In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, with a track record of achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding ratings
Ideally hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (NVQ 5)
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
A Nurse PIN (NMC registration) is desirable but not essential
