Join us for an exciting opportunity to represent a government client as the first point of contact for customer assistance across multiple channels including inbound calls, email, and web chat. As a Customer Service Agent, you'll provide accurate guidance on regulations and rights related to products, services, ideas, and branding for intellectual property rights. Stay updated on our client’s initiatives, offerings, and digital strategy. Ensure thorough transaction handling and effective communication in line with department guidelines.


Key Details

1. Operating Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 7pm - Roster is rotational
2. Location: La Trobe Street, Melbourne VIC. Hybrid/WFH after speed to competency met.
3. Commencing June 2025
4. Part Time: 20-30 hours per week
5. Paid Training
6. Australian Citizenship required as working on behalf of Government client.
7. Be willing and eligible to obtain a security clearance to the level applicable (this is at no cost to you)
8. Australian Based Role


Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain a current understanding of our client’s purpose, offerings, and initiatives
2. Assist callers with understanding regulations and rights around the registration of products, services, ideas, and branding, use of websites, completing relevant forms, troubleshooting, and calculators.
3. Ensure that all transactions are completed thoroughly and convey information in accordance with the guidelines provided by the department. Always seek clarification when unsure.
4. Act professionally and appropriately at all times, acting in the best interest of our client and Probe.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to identify issues, seek solutions, and contribute to continuous improvements.

Work from Home Requirements

Windows 10 or higher based PC or laptop with an i5 processor, 8GB of RAM or equivalent, antivirus installed, and Windows defender switched on. Reliable internet connection and a headset with a microphone are also required. Apple Mac computers are not compatible with our systems.
