The Role:
As a member of the healthcare team, the CSD Technician:
1. Decontaminates, packages, sterilizes, and distributes reusable medical devices (RMDs) for the Operating Theatre and other areas.
2. Maintains a clean and hygienic environment to control infection in the Central Sterilising Department (CSD).

The Team:
* Be part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and supportive team.
* Support can be provided for the study for completion of Certificate III in Sterilising Services.
* Provide efficient sterilisation and decontamination services.
Details of appointment:
* Fixed-term, casual position working as and when required, from a mutually agreed date until 30 September 2026.
* Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
* The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies across the Northwest for twelve months from the publication date.
Salary: $67,193 - $72,126 pro rata, per annum, plus 12% superannuation contribution.

* Certificate III in Sterilising Services from an approved institution.
* Knowledge or experience in a healthcare setting.
