The Gladstone Allied Health team consists of six on site Health Practitioner professions: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Psychology, and Social Work. The Gladstone Allied Health professions provide generalist services. Psychology within the Gladstone Allied Health team provides integrated developmental paediatric psychological services.
About the role
The Psychologist Senior works as a member of the multidisciplinary Allied Health team to provide high level, clinical leadership, evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment planning for children with complex developmental difficulties and their families. The position contributes to diagnosis and the development and delivery of a range of intervention strategies for children with complex developmental difficulties. The Psychologist Senior reports operationally to Allied Health Network Manager and professionally to the Director of Psychology.
About you
* The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree qualification in Psychology from a recognised tertiary institution and registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Whilst not mandatory, post graduate qualifications in a relevant practice area is highly desirable.
What we offer
Total remuneration value of up to $78,679 p.a. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
