Lindsay Transport is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join the team in our Perth depot based in Kewdale.

The Role:
Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a Forklift Driver to join the team in Perth. This is a full-time position with regular overtime, Monday to Friday with optional weekend shifts.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Loading and unloading vehicles
2. Moving freight to and from storage areas
3. Loading trucks in accordance with the load sheet
4. Using stabilisation equipment as required
5. Setting and checking fridge motor temperatures prior to vehicle departure
6. Primarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, and frozen freight onto trailers for distribution
About You:
To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
1. A valid and current forklift licence with experience in this class
2. Warehouse, picking, packing, and stocktaking experience
3. Experience loading and unloading trucks
4. Refrigeration experience (preferred)
5. Reliability and punctuality with good communication skills
6. Adherence to transport documentation
Past experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation, or experience in pick packing fresh, frozen, or chilled produce is well respected for this role but not essential.
To be successful for this role, applicants must:
1. Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test
2. Be flexible and able to work over weekends as required
