Key Account Sales Executive
This role involves achieving and exceeding sales targets in assigned regions. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager, responsible for planning and executing sales activities, reviewing and recommending optimization of sales, and maintaining and developing existing and new customers.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute sales activities to meet agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix, and timescales.
* Review and recommend opportunities to optimize sales, protecting and growing existing business while establishing new accounts.
* Maintain and develop existing and new customers through regular account visits, covering full territory of responsibility.
* Manage opportunity tracking through active and ongoing funnel management.
* Develop ideas and build offers for digital demand generation marketing, actively following up and tracking leads generated by marketing.
* Oversee and report on territory activities and share insights and learnings with the wider team.
* Manage product families and advise on pricing according to agreed targets.
* Partner with Field Service Engineers to provide outstanding service and improve opportunities for new and additional business growth.
* Use customer and prospect contact activity tools and systems, updating relevant information held in these systems.
* Plan and execute local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, integrating personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities.
* Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate profitable business development and balanced relationships.
* Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years' relevant technical sales experience, preferably in the medical device market.
* Experience in selling capital goods and consumables.
* Strong analytical, commercial, and digital literacy, including Excel, Sharepoint, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Salesforce.com.
* Proficient in English, with strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to use them at several organizational levels.
