Capital raising executive

Perth
Kingsmen Capital Partners
Posted: 13 February
Offer description

Kingsmen Capital Partners is a specialist private credit and structured finance institution operating across Australia and New Zealand. The firm originates, structures, and manages senior secured, mezzanine, and bespoke credit exposures across residential, commercial, and development mandates.

Kingsmen operates within a robust institutional governance framework supported by Investment Committee oversight, disciplined credit policy architecture, AML and CTF compliance, Responsible Manager supervision, and rigorous execution standards. The firm partners with family offices, investment managers, institutional investors, and wholesale allocators seeking stable, risk-adjusted returns secured by real assets and enforceable mortgage interests.

Kingsmen's investment philosophy is anchored in underwriting discipline, capital preservation, transparency, and long-term investor alignment.

Role Overview

The Capital Raising Executive is responsible for originating investors and leading Kingsmen's capital acquisition initiatives across its private credit platform. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer, the role carries full accountability for identifying, engaging, converting, and scaling capital commitments across Kingsmen's funds and strategies.

The mandate is singular, commercially focused, and outcome driven: the consistent sourcing of high-quality investors and conversion of those relationships into funded capital commitments.

This role is designed for immediate commencement and operates on a commission-only basis. It is reserved for professionals with an established investor network, institutional credibility, and a demonstrated ability to independently source and convert capital at scale.

The incumbent is expected to deliver sustained capital inflows of approximately $10 million per month on a recurring and scalable basis, sourced from family offices, investment managers, institutional investors, and wholesale allocators.

Kingsmen welcomes engagement with Capital Raising Executives across global markets, with particular emphasis on individuals with a deep and active investor network in New Zealand. The role is suited to professionals with established cross-border relationships and the capability to source, engage, and convert capital in accordance with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Sourcing and Capital Acquisition

* Independently source, originate, and engage family offices, investment management firms, institutional investors, and wholesale allocators, with a strong emphasis on New Zealand-based investor relationships.
* Secure material capital commitments across Kingsmen's private credit strategies.
* Build, manage, and convert a disciplined investor pipeline into funded allocations and repeat mandates.
* Lead senior-level investor engagement, articulating Kingsmen's investment philosophy, underwriting discipline, governance framework, and return profile with institutional authority.
* Drive discussions on allocation sizing, mandate structures, liquidity parameters, and onboarding requirements.
* Maintain disciplined execution from initial engagement through to committed and deployed capital.

Investor Engagement and Market Positioning

* Represent Kingsmen with authority and credibility across investor meetings and strategic engagements.
* Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure capital inflows align with portfolio deployment capacity and risk appetite.
* Provide structured feedback to the CEO and CIO on investor sentiment, allocation trends, and capital market conditions.

Governance, Compliance and AFSL Alignment

* Ensure all capital raising activity adheres to AFSL obligations, Corporations Act requirements, trustee protocols, and AML and CTF standards.
* Support investor onboarding including AML and KYC verification, source of funds validation, and compliance approvals.
* Maintain robust audit trails, CRM records, and communication logs consistent with Kingsmen's governance standards.
* Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all investor-facing materials and interactions meet regulatory and fiduciary expectations.

Performance Benchmarks

* Sustained capital inflows of approximately $10 million per month.
* Consistent conversion of sourced investors into funded allocations and repeat mandates.
* A scalable, high-quality investor pipeline aligned with portfolio deployment capacity.
* Institutional-quality investor engagement reflective of Kingsmen's positioning.
* Strong alignment between investor sourcing activity, investment strategy, and risk discipline.

Remuneration

This role operates on a commission-only basis, with a highly competitive structure directly linked to sourced and deployed capital. The final commission framework will reflect the seniority of the mandate, the scale of capital raised, and the candidate's demonstrated fundraising capability.

Required Experience

* Minimum five years' experience in capital raising, institutional fundraising, or investor sourcing roles across alternative investments, asset management, or structured finance.
* Demonstrated history of independently sourcing investors and converting relationships into material capital commitments, including evidence of sustained monthly inflows.
* Established and active investor relationships in New Zealand, including family offices, investment managers, institutional investors, and wholesale allocators.
* Strong understanding of investment structures, credit risk assessment, portfolio construction, and return attribution.
* Proven ability to engage CIOs, investment committees, trustees, and principals with authority and commercial judgement.
* Comfortable operating within a regulated, governance-led environment with high accountability.

Kingsmen is deliberately selective in appointing to this mandate. The Capital Raising Executive role is designed for professionals whose careers have been defined by investor sourcing capability, credibility, and consistent capital conversion at scale—with particular strength in the New Zealand investor landscape.

If you operate at the highest level of investment capital raising and are seeking a commission-driven mandate within a governance-led private credit platform, Kingsmen invites a confidential discussion.
