This role requires strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with heavy equipment. As a Field Service Technician, you will be working independently, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance.

Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
* Fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues
* Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing to maintain machinery efficiency
* Technical problem-solving to tackle diverse challenges in hydraulics, diesel engines, and more
* On-site support to deliver high-quality service at customer sites, minimizing downtime and ensuring operations run smoothly
* Collaborative projects with the team on large overhauls and new equipment commissions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A solid background in heavy equipment industry (transport, construction, agricultural, or mining)
* Mechanical aptitude and diagnostics skills
* A commitment to best-practice safety measures and strong communication skills
* A valid driver's license and trade qualification (Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or similar)
* Full working rights in Australia and health clearance (ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening)
