Overview
We are looking for a fixed-term, full-time (30 hour) support worker to help a group of adults with learning disabilities, autism and Down's syndrome live independently in their own homes around Peterhead Town Centre.
Responsibilities
Support individuals with daily tasks such as medication administration, cooking and cleaning.
Assist with managing finances.
Organise and host group events and activities that the people we support enjoy.
Provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekend and overnight work (sleepovers); day shifts run between 7 am – 10 pm.
Communicate with staff, volunteers and families and build trust.
Qualifications
Positive, motivated and willing to go the extra mile.
Reliable, honest, able to communicate well with everyone.
Basic UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
