Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Passenger Baggage Agent to join our team at Sydney International Airport. As a key member of our Mishandled Baggage team, you will be responsible for tracing and locating mishandled bags for international carrier clients, reporting on damaged bags directly back to the airline, and ensuring seamless customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for passengers at the carousel
* Verify passenger loading details
* Maintain visibility on carousel operations, addressing issues such as belt stoppages and passenger concerns
* Collaborate with below-wing teams for missing baggage resolution
* Accurately record and process rush bags received
* Communicate effectively with Baggage Services Supervisors regarding operational issues
* Create and manage files for missed or damaged bags
* Deliver baggage to passengers in a timely and efficient manner
