About the Role
Mercy Community is currently seeking Casual Personal Care Assistants to join our dedicated team working across both homes in Rockhampton.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will bring your passion and commitment to supporting our elderly residents with their daily living activities. Guided by our experienced Facility Manager and Clinical Team, you’ll be part of a welcoming and supportive community. Our Nudgee facility consists of four single-level buildings, surrounded by peaceful gardens where residents, families, and staff can relax and connect.

* $33.49-$34.59 per hour (plus casual loading) + superannuation

This role includes -
* Support residents with activities of daily living in line with their care plans
* Assist with personal hygiene (showering, continence, bedding, and clothing)
* Safely use equipment such as slide sheets and hoists with a focus on comfort and safety
* Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and comfort
About You
As the successful applicant, you will possess:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or a similar qualification
* Previous experience in aged care (desirable)
* Experience in Dementia care (highly regarded)
* The ability to follow care plans, complete written instructions, and maintain accurate progress notes
