We are seeking a Warehouse & Cleaning Manager reporting to the Operations/Production Manager, to lead our Cleaning and Warehouse teams. You will oversee stock control, machinery maintenance, rostering, and staff management — all while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and coordinate the cleaning department and Warehouse staff.
* Oversee stock deliveries, unpacking, and inventory checks.
* Operate forklifts safely to minimise stock/product damage.
* Monitor temperature-sensitive items on delivery; reject and record out-of-range stock.
* Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
* Liaise effectively with production, maintenance, logistics, and suppliers.
* Ensure production machinery is operational; schedule maintenance and repairs as required.
* Manage staff rostering via Humanforce and recruit new team members as needed.
* Act as the first point of contact for third-party technicians.
* Comply with HACCP, food safety, and company Code of Conduct principles.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in warehouse or cleaning management roles, ideally in a food manufacturing environment.
* Forklift licence and strong understanding of warehouse operations.
* Experience managing dynamic teams and coordinating multiple activities simultaneously.
* Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and numerical skills.
* Physically fit and capable of manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and squatting.
* Proactive, safety-conscious, and able to perform under pressure.
