Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and prepare recommendations for development applications
* Prepare technical reports on engineering matters related to construction certificates
* Review and monitor stormwater, traffic, subdivision and civil works
* Provide advice and guidance on Development Control Plans
* Support Council in Land and Environment Court hearings, including expert witness reporting
* Ensure compliance with Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and best-practice principles
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Minimum of 2 years' experience with development engineering matters
* Sound knowledge of development assessment processes
* Understanding of local government and environmental legislation
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* A current Class C driver's licence
