Warehouse Team Member Job Description
Our warehouse team member plays a vital role in delivering efficient store warehouse activities, ensuring the correct stock is received and dispatched for pickup or delivery.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving goods from suppliers, unloading, and storing safely. They will also provide great customer service to customers picking up orders, maintaining records and invoices, participating in regular stock takes, and facilitating maintenance and layout to ensure a safe work environment in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receiving and Unloading Goods: Responsible for receiving goods from suppliers and unloading them safely into the warehouse.
* Customer Service: Provides excellent customer service to customers picking up orders, answering their queries, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Record Keeping: Maintains accurate records and invoices, ensuring that all transactions are properly documented and accounted for.
* Stock Management: Participates in regular stock takes, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that stock is replenished as needed.
* Maintenance and Layout: Facilitates maintenance and layout to ensure a safe working environment in the warehouse, including regular cleaning and organization of storage areas.
