About the Role
A Financial Market Data Sales Specialist is required to join our sales team in Sydney, Australia. This role will involve working with global clients to understand their unique company challenges and goals.
As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling data sets such as market research, public and private company data, security level data as well as Capital IQ solutions into both existing relationships and new logos. You will consult with customers about the services suite to evangelize solutions that will help them reach their business goals.
The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong personal integrity, and negotiation skills. They will also have in-depth knowledge of the financial market industry and be well-aware of what's happening.
This role requires a self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and growing a book of business within large, multinational organizations.
Responsibilities:
* Carry an individual sales target and generate new revenue from white space and existing clients in Australia.
* Ability to carry out a client sales meeting, including ability to diagnose, design and deliver solutions for our clients.
* Identify and initiate new client relationships, and work on end to end sales cycle from origination to closing of the deal.
