Bring your clinical expertise and leadership to the Acute Care Service (ACS) within the Mental Health, Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Service (MHATODS). You'll deliver evidence-based care, guide recovery, and play a key role in supporting individuals and communities across North West Queensland.

About the role
As a Clinical Nurse, you'll use your advanced skills and leadership to deliver person-centred care in acute mental health and alcohol and other drug services. You will:
* Provide assessment, early intervention, crisis management and evidence-based treatment.
* Support safe transitions to ongoing or community care.
* Lead and mentor nursing and multidisciplinary colleagues.
* Contribute to education, research and service improvement.
Requirements
* Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
* This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
* A period of 6 months' probation may apply.
