Business Operations Management | Archerfield | $170,000 - $190,000 Super A well-established engineering and sub-contracting business in Brisbane is looking to appoint a leader within their head office function to oversee a centralised, operational team supporting procurement, pricing and project delivery activities across the organisation. This role will suit someone who enjoys running a highly functional operational team, ensuring work is delivered accurately, on time and with the right level of commercial awareness. The function plays an important role in supporting the success of the business, keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly and therefore ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for managing a team that supports costing and procurement activities, while also looking at ways to improve systems, processes and overall efficiency. Key responsibilities will include: Leading and developing a team responsible for pricing and procurement support Ensuring quotations, purchasing and related activities are delivered accurately and within required timeframes Supporting operational and commercial teams with accurate and timely pricing and purchasing Identifying opportunities to improve processes, workflows and systems Monitoring performance and maintaining consistent service delivery across the function Providing reporting and insights around operational performance and cost drivers Be the champion for process improvement and system optimisation Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across projects, engineering and operations. About you You'll likely come from a technical or project-based environment such as engineering, construction, manufacturing or a similar industry where procurement, pricing, accounting/finance or operational support plays a critical role in business success.
