**Medical Receptionist and Typist**
**_ Permanent Full-Time Opportunity_**
We are seeking a professional and committed **Medical Receptionist / Typist **to join our team at Joondalup Health Campus, one of the largest hospitals in Western Australia.
**About the Role**
You will be responsible for effectively providing administrative, secretarial and accounting/billing support and liaising with Rehabilitation and Aged Care consultants, PRACWA, Joondalup Health Campus Rehabilitation and Aged Care Services, and Day Therapy Services to respond to general correspondence, memoranda and reports. This will involve coordinating and facilitating the clinics for the consultant, including bookings, appointments, accounts and liaison with the multidisciplinary team, as required.
Supporting and contributing to the achievement of the clinical, teaching, research and organisational goals of Joondalup Health Campus and Ramsay Health Care, you will work collaboratively and cooperatively with a friendly and supportive team.

You must have experience in the following:
- Excellent medical audio typing and computer skills
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous experience in a medical practice
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Relevant administrative experience
- Knowledge of organising and maintaining Consultants diaries
- Previous billing experience
- Flexible with regard to possible clinic location

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:
- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
