As Head of Conduct & Workplace Relations, you'll play a vital role in providing strategic legal advice and risk-based solutions across a wide range of people-related matters, working with internal stakeholders across all areas and levels of the organisation. What you'll do: Lead the employment legal practice, providing practical legal advice and risk-based solutions to internal clients on a broad range of employment law and people-related matters. Advise management on conduct, compliance, and ethics-related matters across all levels of the organisation. Provide legal advice to stakeholders on employment matters, projects, policies, investigations, and disputes. Draft employment-related documents including contracts, policies, and processes. Deliver training and presentations to build legal capability across the business. Monitor legal and regulatory changes and develop flexible, creative solutions to business challenges. Provide advice and leadership on transformation and change projects. Report to internal stakeholders and boards at all levels of the organisation. What we're looking for: A minimum of 12 years post-qualification experience (PQE) with a strong employment law background. Experience conducting litigation in the employment area and in employment aspects of transactions. Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams of lawyers, and working closely on complex matters with other senior lawyers and partners. Excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence with impact. Ability to identify and assess legal risks, articulating likelihood and impact so the business can make informed, risk-based decisions. Ability to prioritise and lead multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to work with external law firms and outsourced providers in an efficient way. Work health and safety law experience would be beneficial.
