The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of risk governance standards, particularly in the Australian financial services sector. They will be responsible for championing the Risk Management Framework across the business, ensuring that it is well-implemented and continuously improved.
* Risk Management Framework includes developing and maintaining key risk policies, documents, and registers, as well as providing tools and guidance to embed risk practices within the organization.
* Risk culture supports the embedment of the Risk Management Framework by delivering policy and risk awareness training, facilitating risk workshops, and engaging in relevant forums. The successful candidate will lead by example to promote a commercialized risk culture aligned with our values.
* Risk advisory and related services provide practical risk advice, support, and training across a range of activities, including risk assessments, control testing, incident management, and project support. The role also involves contributing to annual Business Continuity Plan (BCP) tests and Risk Management Declaration processes.
* Reporting assists with enterprise risk reporting for senior leaders on key areas including material risks, emerging risks, operational risks, framework development, and risk culture.
About You:
We are seeking a graduate with 2+ years working experience looking to grow their career in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Ideal candidates should possess:
* Experience working within the superannuation or financial services sector.
* A good working knowledge of Australian regulatory environments, particularly risk governance standards.
* The ability to proactively problem solve and provide sound advice to senior leaders.
* Experience in training others and promoting a positive risk culture.
