At Great Southern Equipment, we specialise in mobile, onsite service and repair of hydraulic and industrial equipment, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, construction and materials handling equipment, and forklifts.
We're a growing business with a strong local reputation, and we're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Mobile Service Technician who takes pride in their work to join our team.
The Role
As a Mobile Service Technician, you'll provide high-quality field service and repair solutions for our customers, while building strong relationships across a wide range of industries.
This is a hands-on role that involves:
* Travelling to customer sites across Albany and surrounding areas
* Attending breakdowns and completing preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery
* Working from our well-equipped Albany workshop when required

About You
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
Essential:
* Trade-qualified (Mechanical or related field)
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Experience in fitting/mechanical and/or auto electrics
* Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical and fitting experience required
* Ability to safely operate machinery, tools, and measuring equipment
* Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
* Strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, and a team player attitude
* Good organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work
* Commitment to safe work practices and OHS standards
* Medically fit for the role and well presented
* A current manual driver's licence (with willingness to obtain forklift & EWP licence)
* Currently living in, near, or willing to relocate to Albany, WA
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
Desirable:
* Knowledge of the access, construction, or materials handling industry
* Familiarity with relevant products and equipment
