$60,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience)
Overview
JMJ Legal Group Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Junior Solicitor or Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Browns Plains, Queensland. This full-time role will see you provide expert legal support and advice in the field of property law and conveyancing. As a key member of our growing practice, you will play a vital part in helping our clients navigate the complexities of property transactions with efficiency and care.
What you\'ll be doing
* Conducting residential and commercial property conveyancing, including contract preparation, exchange, settlement and post-settlement processes
* Drafting and reviewing a variety of legal documents such as contracts, leases, transfers and other relevant paperwork
* Providing professional and personalized advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process
* Conducting thorough property and title searches, and liaising with relevant authorities
* Assisting senior solicitors with more complex property matters as required
* Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring all work is completed to the highest professional standards
What we\'re looking for
* Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree
* Admitted as a solicitor in Queensland
* 1-3 years\' experience in property law and conveyancing
* Strong working knowledge of property law, conveyancing practices and relevant legislation
* Preferably experience in QLD, NSW, VIC and SA conveyancing
* Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain language
* Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
* Demonstrated experience using legal research databases and conveyancing software
* A genuine passion for property law and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
