About the Role:
The Senior Program Officer – Accreditation Preparation will provide high-level statewide project and program management support to the Manager Accreditation Preparation. Responsibilities include monitoring and implementing quality improvement activities to help public health services meet accreditation standards.
This role requires extensive health industry experience and knowledge of accreditation, with a focus on complex projects, policy, and service delivery aligned with Australian national standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level project and program management support related to accreditation, policy, and service delivery.
* Conduct onsite assessments and report on the accreditation status of health services, which may require travel within Tasmania.
* Support quality improvement, safety committees, and undertake data research, reporting, and trend analysis to support program management.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $107,899 to $122,292 per annum (pro-rata), with an additional 11.5% superannuation contribution. Various benefits are also available, including professional development and career pathways, leave entitlements, and access to fitness facilities.
Eligibility and Position Features:
Preferred candidates will have completed relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Diploma of Quality Auditing or Lead Auditor ISO 19011:2018. The position is based in Hobart, with travel within Tasmania and possibly interstate.
