We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MaintenanceOfficer to join our dynamic team in a part-time(0.2 FTE), ongoing role, commencing as soon as possible. In this role, youwill maintain and enhance the College's grounds, buildings, andfacilities to the highest standards of safety, presentation, andfunctionality, ensuring a clean, well-kept environment thatsupports teaching, learning, and the College's reputation forexcellence.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Professionally represent the school through presentation,conduct, and service, always maintaining a high standard.
* Demonstrate commitment to identifying and minimising safetyand health risks.
* Perform general maintenance and handyman tasks acrossgrounds, buildings, and equipment.
* Carry out routine cleaning duties, including littercollection and emptying bins.
* Maintain safe, clean, and organised work areas, includingworkshop and tools, and assist in the upkeep of grounds andfacilities.
* Complete additional duties as directed by the Property andService Manager.
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrates a personal commitment to Jesus Christ andactive involvement in a Christian church.
* Lives in alignment with SCEA's Statement of Faith,Foundational Beliefs, and Educational Objectives.
* Self-motivated, hardworking, and able to manage workloadeffectively.
* Strong team player who follows direction and showsinitiative when appropriate.
* Possesses relevant skills and holds (or is willing toobtain) required licences (minimum Class C).
* Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and capable of responding tourgent issues.
* Physically capable and committed to maintaining a safe,supportive school environment.
* Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Working with ChildrenCheck and Department of Education Criminal HistoryClearance.
