Overview
One of Australia's most highly regarded law firms is seeking an experienced Bids and Tenders Manager to support continued growth across multiple practice areas and sectors.
This role is responsible for leading the preparation and delivery of high-quality tenders, proposals and capability statements that clearly communicate expertise, value and client outcomes.
The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide and reports to a dynamic and highly regarded leader.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and business development colleagues, you will manage end-to-end bid processes, coordinate multiple inputs and ensure all submissions are commercially sound, compliant and delivered to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage bid qualification processes, including go/no-go decision-making with senior stakeholders.
Project manage the preparation of tenders, proposals and capability documents from initiation through to submission.
Coordinate contributions from internal teams and subject-matter experts.
Prepare and review commercial and pricing components of submissions to ensure alignment with client requirements.
Identify, track and manage risk throughout the bid lifecycle.
Contribute to written proposal content, structure, messaging and presentation.
Ensure all submissions are compliant, accurate and delivered within required timeframes.
Provide guidance on pricing approaches and fee structures tailored to client needs.
Shape strategic and commercial messaging for individual opportunities.
Support the preparation and coaching of client-facing presentations and final-stage interviews.
Conduct post-tender debriefs and capture insights to inform future submissions.
Develop and maintain a centralised clause, content and credentials library.
Capture, refine and manage reusable proposal content and data.
Maintain accurate records of bid activity, outcomes and reporting.
Assist with industry directory and profile submissions as required.
Provide regular reporting on tender activity and status to senior stakeholders.
Coach stakeholders on effective pitching, proposal management and best practices.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve bid processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating in a similar bids and tenders role within a law firm.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
Commercially astute with experience reviewing pricing and risk considerations.
Confident engaging with partners, senior lawyers and cross-functional teams.
Highly organised, proactive and process-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.
