MJD Recruitment is growing in Queensland, and we're looking for a sharp, proactive Admin Assistant to work closely with our QLD Director across client engagement, talent search and daily desk operations.
This isn't "just admin". It's commercial support with real visibility into how relationships are built, opportunities are won and partnerships are maintained across Brisbane and the Gold Coast markets.
What You'll Be Across
* Monitoring daily SEEK alerts and identifying prospective client opportunities
* Supporting LinkedIn outreach and helping coordinate introductory conversations
* Assisting with LinkedIn Talent Search to map new client prospects
* Drafting and sending tailored outreach through JobAdder
* Assisting with inbox and calendar management to keep the desk moving
* Supporting follow-ups and broader client engagement initiatives
* Other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
About You
We need someone who understands the SE QLD landscape and can move quickly. You'll also need to be comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment while staying closely connected to the QLD Director.
Ideally you'll have prior experience within recruitment or resourcing, supporting a busy desk or working in a fast-paced agency environment. Exposure to high-level administrative support within the recruitment space will also be highly regarded.

* Understand Brisbane and Gold Coast business landscapes
* Are organised and proactive
Ideally you'll be able to start immediately, but there's potential flexibility for the perfect candidate. While this is a part-time position, there may be opportunity to move into a full-time role in the future.
