Responsibilities
* Shampooing and conditioning hair
* Colouring, straightening, and perming hair with chemical solutions
* Cutting and styling hair with scissors and trimmers (e.g., skin fade, taper fade, low skin fade)
* Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches
* Keeping up to date with current hairdressing trends, techniques, and products; making recommendations to clients
* Cleaning work areas and sanitising all tools
* Arranging appointments and collecting payments
Qualifications & Experience
* At least 1 year of recent experience in barbering or hairdressing
* Certificate III in Hairdressing or relevant experience
* A strong commitment to safety
* A willingness to learn and develop skills
* Experience with the latest men's hair cutting and beard styles (e.g., fades, beard sculpting)
* Experience in straight razor shaving and moustache styling
* Strong oral communication and customer service skills
* Positive attitude, physically fit and healthy
* Attention to detail
* Long-term career-oriented viewpoint
