Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs on a variety of earthmoving equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs on earthmoving equipment
* Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults on equipment
* Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognised trade certificate in electrical engineering
* A Certificate of Proficiency in Air Conditioning and Refrigerant Handling
* Previous experience with earthmoving electrical systems and aftermarket systems
* Sound knowledge of electrical and air-conditioning systems
* Firm understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
* Strong focus on safety
* Understanding of statutory/legislative requirements with respect to electrical and A/C systems
