About the Role:
This position involves providing on-site user support, encompassing troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware devices such as laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and IP phones. The role will also require involvement in networking tasks within a Cisco environment.
The individual in this position will be responsible for supporting both IT and OT environments, including occasional campaigns to remote sites. Hands-on technical support will be required for the wider teams, including networking, storage, and hosting, with a focus on ensuring overall system functionality and meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide hands-on user support, including troubleshooting and maintaining devices.
* Involved in networking tasks within a Cisco environment.
* Support both IT and OT environments.
* Meet and adhere to SLA requirements.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support.
* Hands-on user support experience, including troubleshooting devices and systems managed in an Intune environment.
* Strong networking experience in a Cisco environment and a CCNA certification is required.
* Experience providing technical support for networking, storage, and hosting teams.
* Ability to plan, execute, and report on technical maintenance campaigns.
* Experience with Windows Servers, VMware, and Palo Alto firewalls for management and maintenance.
* Strong understanding of SLA requirements and a focus on ensuring SLAs are met.
* High awareness of safety and strict adherence to safety protocols.
* High awareness of Cyber security and strict adherence to cyber policies and protocols.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
