Concrete Technical Business Development Manager
Heidelberg Materials are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Business Development Manager for our concrete division. As a leader in the construction industry, we require someone who can drive business growth and help us achieve our sustainability goals.
As a Concrete Technical Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Developing and executing business plans to increase sales and revenue focussed on value added and sustainability products.
* Building strong relationships with designers, engineers and architects associated with existing and potential clients
* Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to capitalise on them
* Conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends, sustainability objectives and competitors
* Collaborating with cross-functional departments such as engineering, manufacturing, technical and operations to create innovative solutions for clients
* Providing technical assistance and support to customers before, during, and after sales
Role Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (not mandatory)
* 5+ years of technical sales experience in the concrete industry
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
* Strong technical knowledge of concrete materials, applications, and processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the region
