Remuneration: $36.39 - $51.09 Per Hour + 12% Super + Salary Packaging
Hours Per Week: Up to 38

About The Role
This position is based on Ward K3 within the Maternity and Gynaecology Service, where you will care for surgical patients allocated to flexible surge beds. The ward features eight beds that expand during periods of high activity, allowing you to practice and enhance your skills across a diverse range of disciplines. You will contribute to the culture of the K3 team, delivering quality, compassionate care to women from various medical specialties.
Your responsibilities include:
* Providing efficient, person-centred care that meets patient and family needs
* Advocating for patients to help them make informed decisions
* Explaining clinical interventions and service delivery processes
* Making appropriate referrals for discharge needs
* Supervising and mentoring staff and students
* Potential redeployment to the K3 gynaecology beds or other areas as needed
Professional development is supported through orientation, a Clinical Nurse Educator, and regular education opportunities from the Maternity and Gynaecology Service and hospital-wide resources.

* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
