The Role
We are seeking an experienced Special Class Electrician (Automation) to join the team, supporting site maintenance and automation operations.
This is a day-shift position with rostered call-out support, responsible for:
* Attending to machinery breakdowns, electrical maintenance and repairs.
* Diagnosing and repairing industrial automation equipment across 24-hour processing and manufacturing environments.
* Providing automation support across electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
* Working closely with the maintenance team to ensure smooth plant operations.
*To be successful, you will bring:*
* A valid A Grade Electrical Licence.
* Certification in Industrial Automation.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Automation, post apprenticeship - A MUST
* Strong background in industrial manufacturing environments.
* Hands-on knowledge of PLCs, VSDs and remote I/Os.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
