Bragg Tax & Accounting is a well-established firm with a sound base of experienced, long-term staff. Bragg Tax & Accounting is located in the City of Townsville with onsite parking. We provide an extensive range of business, taxation and accounting services to meet our clients’ needs. Our clientele is varied from sizable businesses & SMSF to individual tax returns.

POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role, you will greet clients, manage appointments, handle phone enquiries, and assist with a wide range of administrative tasks. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, where your communication skills and positive attitude will shine. If you’re eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a busy, fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Reception, appointment management & Client engagement;

* Assisting in of processing income tax returns;

* Attending to and liaising with clients and accountants queries;

* Manage busy periods during tax season efficiently;

* Invoicing & payments;

* Liaising with the ATO to arrange payment plans, interest & fee remissions, lodgement extensions and utilising the tax portal;

* General administrative duties & data entry.

The ideal candidate must have:

* Previous experience in Office Administration;

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook);

* Strong organisational & time management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving;

* Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail;

* Experience with Xero or other accounting software is advantageous;

Part Time hours: 8.30am – 4pm Mon – Thurs & 8.30am – 3pm Friday.

Full time hours during tax season.

Salary will be negotiated based on experience.

On-site parking provided.
