Are you ready to step into a role where your work truly matters? Our busy warehouse is seeking a casual and/or full time Warehouse/Store person to play a key role in keeping the heart of our pathology lab pumping
At Clinpath our Warehouse/Stores Team plays a critical support role where your organisational skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our laboratory operations located at Mile End, SA. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assist with receipting of stores into warehouse, including checking items against the original order and coordination of their distribution and storage;
* Assist with pick and pack orders;
* Deliver internal warehouse items as required by laboratory/collection centres/hospitals;
* Assist to maintain stores area by ensuring adequate supplies are available;
* Assist in regular stocktaking program;
* Collection and delivery of orders from blood bank as required;
* Ensure waste - confidential and medical disposed appropriately;
* Assist with general enquiries from customers;
* Assist with entering stores orders; and
* Other duties as required.
To be successful you will have:
Essential
* Experience in goods storage and/or picking and packing;
* Be physically fit with an acute awareness of safe warehouse practices to handle cartons of various sizes and lifting heavy weights;
* Current driver's licence and the ability to drive a transit van;
* Current forklift licence;
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office with basic keyboard skills;
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills with exceptional phone etiquette;
* Self-directed, energetic and motivated to achieve agreed outcomes;
* Ability to interpret instructions to ensure systems, procedures and processes are maintained at the highest standard;
* Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible work environment with the ability to prioritise;
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and autonomously;
* The ability to be an active listener with excellent attention to detail; and
* High level of confidentiality and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
Desirable (but not essential)
* Basic knowledge of building maintenance procedures.
