Design Draftsperson
As a Design Draftsperson at Wagners, you will work closely with the engineering and sales team to lead the design of structures that meet our clients' needs, adhering to design codes while maintaining effective communication with colleagues and management.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive remuneration package including base salary and 11.5% superannuation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure client expectations, scope of works, and constructability are met.
* Work directly with engineers using Revit to create cost-effective designs.
* Provide complete design drawings for approval and certification.
* Produce concept drawings and sketches for other draftees.
* Create and review 3D Models for clashes, constructability, and production.
* Review, mark up, and comment on 3D models and drawings created by other team members.
* Develop workshop drawings for fabrication and production purposes for individual parts.
* Attend weekly design and drafting meetings to determine project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
About You:
* You must have experience using Revit and AutoCAD (essential).
* An advanced understanding of Australian Drafting Standards is required.
* You should possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
* You need to be able to establish strong working relationships.
Qualifications:
A Diploma of Engineering or relevant tertiary studies is necessary for this role.
