This global medical assistance role involves providing clinically informed advice and non-diagnostic guidance to international clients. You will manage end-to-end medical assistance cases, including emergencies, evacuations, and repatriations, supporting patients and families through stressful situations.
The position requires collaboration with Assistance Coordinators, medical teams, and international providers, as well as contributing clinical insight to pre-deployment assessments.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Minimum 4 years’ recent acute experience, including critical care (ICU, ED, HDU, CCU or acute surgical)
- Strong communication and telephone-based clinical assessment skills
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and empathetic under pressure
- Sound computer literacy
- Previous experience in medical assistance or case management is advantageous
