Position Summary

The English Learning Leader and Teacher is responsible for leading the Senior School (Year 7-12) English department at Ruyton to create a vibrant and engaging learning culture that empowers each student to develop as a confident and expressive communicator, imaginative thinker, inquirer with a capacity for independent and reflective learning, and a learner engaged in achieving personal best.

Terms of Position of Responsibility (POR)

This POR is for a three-year term only, after which the School reserves the right to either reappoint or re-advertise the POR. The POR comes with monetary allowance and time release. The substantive teacher role is ongoing.
