Overview
Leveltec is expanding its field sales capability in NSW and is looking for an experienced, technically capable sales professional to take ownership of the region.
This is a territory-based role focused on building and growing relationships across mining, bulk materials handling, ports and heavy industrial operations. You will be responsible for developing your own pipeline, generating new business, and driving revenue across Leveltec's product verticals. The role involves direct engagement with operators, engineers and maintenance teams, identifying opportunities on site and working with internal teams to deliver practical, application-driven solutions. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who is comfortable in the field and confident operating independently.

Leveltec Engineering is an Australian‐owned manufacturing and technical distribution business supplying electrical safety, monitoring and power distribution solutions across mining and heavy industry. Over the past decade, the business has grown from manufacturing tilt switches for conveyor systems into a broader technical supplier supporting electrical and mechanical infrastructure across multiple industries. Leveltec works with a range of specialised global manufacturers and supports customers nationally through local stock, engineering support and responsive service.
The Role
You will take ownership of the NSW territory, acting as the primary point of contact for customers while building new pipeline opportunities across the region. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and managing your own sales pipeline
* Prospecting through cold calling, networking and site engagement
* Building relationships with operators, engineers and procurement teams
* Identifying opportunities for replacement, upgrade and project work
* Presenting Leveltec solutions across conveyor safety, electrical protection and control systems
* Working closely with internal sales and engineering to deliver solutions
* Driving revenue growth across new and existing accounts
* Maintaining accurate CRM pipeline and reporting
* Providing market feedback on customer needs, trends and competitor activity
Typical Week
Monday (planning & alignment):
* Sales and operations meetings
* Pipeline review and planning
* Coordination with internal teams
* Preparation for customer visits
Tuesday–Friday:
* On‐site customer visits across NSW
* Prospecting and relationship development
* Application discussions and opportunity identification
* Follow‐ups and pipeline progression
* CRM updates and reporting
What we're looking for
Essential:
* Electrical trade qualification, engineering background, or strong technical knowledge
* Experience in mining, industrial or heavy industry environments
* Proven ability to generate leads, build pipeline and close opportunities
* Strong face‐to‐face communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* Practical, solution‐focused mindset
Location
* NSW‐based role
* Ideally located in Newcastle or the Hunter Region
* Regular travel across NSW required
