Responsibilities
* Transport workers from Harvey to Australind for various morning and evening shifts.
* Provide safe, reliable, and compliant transportation services to and from work for Harvey Beef employees, including overseas workers.
* Make yourself available for ad‐hoc appointments, airport transfers (Perth), repatriation activities, and approved welfare and community engagements.
* Remain available for stand‐by and after‐hours transport, including early morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and public holiday transport services.
* Conduct pre‐start and post‐trip vehicle inspections and maintain company vehicles in a clean, safe, roadworthy, and presentable condition.
* Promptly report incidents, accidents, and maintenance defects.
* Develop strong relationships with passengers and report unsafe behaviour or passenger misconduct to safeguard passengers.
* Maintain records including vehicle logbooks, fuel and mileage records, and trip schedules.
* Ensure all passengers comply with seatbelt and transport safety requirements at all times.
* Maintain professional, respectful, and culturally appropriate interactions with employees from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* Support the wellbeing and welfare of employees by escalating any concerns relating to safety, welfare, accommodation, behaviour, or wellbeing to management.
* Comply with Company zero‐tolerance requirements relating to drugs and alcohol and ensure fitness for work at all times.
Qualifications
* ClassC Drivers Licence (Clean and Unrestricted).
* Demonstrated safe driving history and commitment to road safety practices.
* Strong English communication skills preferred.
* Ability to work flexible hours.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
