About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, service-focused Public Area Cleaner to work part-time in a Newcastle hotel.
The role involves cleaning hotel public areas several days a week and acting as a room attendant on other days.
You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager and be responsible for:
Cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas
Assisting with guest requests and interacting positively with guests and staff
Maintaining room pantries and ensuring all equipment is in clean, working order
About You
You will possess a friendly, enthusiastic attitude and be able to work effectively with both guests and the hotel team.
You must have:
Full Australian working rights
At least four days availability on a rotating roster
A proven track record in room servicing
Skills & Qualifications
Strong customer-service orientation
Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Honesty, reliability and pride in your work
Respectful attitude and accountability for your responsibilities
