The role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented NDIS Plan Manager to join our team in NSW. You will be responsible for the financial administration of NDIS participants' plans, ensuring funding is managed effectively and transparently. This is a crucial role that empowers our clients to exercise choice and control over their support services.
Key responsibilities
* Process invoices and track expenditures for NDIS participants, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Monitor participant budgets and provide clear, regular financial reports.
* Liaise with NDIS participants, their families, and service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Ensure all financial processes and payments comply with NDIS regulations and pricing guidelines.
* Maintain accurate and detailed financial records for audit purposes.
* Assist participants in building their financial and plan management skills.
* Resolve payment queries and potential budget issues in consultation with participants.
Skills and qualifications
* Proven experience in NDIS plan management of 1-2 years or a related financial/administration role.
* Expert knowledge of the NDIS and its requirements, including the NDIS Price Guide.
* Strong financial, accounting, and budgeting skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with participants and providers.
* Proficiency in relevant software for tracking and reporting (experience with NDIS-specific software is a plus).
* High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Relevant qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field are highly desirable.
* A NDIS Worker Screening Check is required upon successful application.
