News Corp is looking for a Head of Cyber Risk who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Cyber GRC Program, including the development, implementation and maintenance of security policies, standards, guidelines and processes to ensure compliance is maintained and risk is mitigated.
As The Head of Cyber Risk you should have a strong understanding and experience in cyber security and privacy principles as well as a sound understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements affecting the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the organisations cyber risk program to track, communicate, mitigate and ultimately remediate organisational cyber security risks. 
- Manage, support and mature the organisations compliance and audit activity including; PCI-DSS, Sarbanes Oxley IT general controls and independent cyber security assessments. 
- Liaise with the organisation on cyber security risks and issues to ensure business objectives can be met in balance with the organisations risk appetite. 
- Lead communication and collaboration during cyber events to ensure business stakeholders are informed and situationally aware. 
- Work closely with a broad array of business stakeholders including Risk, Security, Audit and Privacy leaders, Executives and 3rd parties. 
- Prepare for and chair cyber security steering committee meetings in conjunction Executives from Legal, Privacy, Risk and the Technology teams. 
- Organisation wide cyber security education and awareness activities. 
- Phishing awareness program and measurement of phishing awareness maturity. 
- Identify, document, record, manage and maintain the central registry of cyber risks and issues. 
- Manage the organisations vendor cyber risk assessment program to assess the maturity of third party vendors cyber maturity. 
- Coordinate the implementation of global information security policies and standards. 
- Manage a team of governance risk and compliance analysts including; performance reviews, appraisals and career planning. 
- Work in collaboration with a globally distributed cyber security team to deliver the global cyber security program.
**What you should have** 
- A strong business acumen with experience managing a cyber risk program within a multi-dimensional business. 
- Proven experience developing strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
- Demonstrated experience in cyber governance, risk and compliance in dynamic and complex cyber security, technology and business environments 
- Familiarity or experience with cyber security functions such as; cloud security, product security, threat and defense and Security operations. 
- Experience working within the NIST cyber security framework. 
- Experience working within an organisation that must meet Sarbanes Oxley IT general control compliance audit requirements. 
- Experience managing a PCI-DSS program across a geographically distributed organisation. 
- 8+ years experience within a cyber security leadership role. 
- Industry certifications : CISSP or CISM highly regarded.
