About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll be the right-hand person to the Manager and a key player in day-to-day operations. Your role will be varied, fast-paced, and rewarding.
You'll be responsible for:
* Supporting the Manager in daily operations and decision-making
* Leading, motivating, and supporting the team on the floor
* Ensuring excellent customer service and smooth workflow
* Assisting with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
* Problem-solving on the go and keeping things running efficiently
* Stepping up to manage operations when the Manager is away

About You
You're someone who:
* Has experience in a supervisory or assistant management role (trade, warehouse, retail, or industrial environments highly regarded)
* Is confident, proactive, and solutions-focused
* Communicates clearly and works well with different personalities

* Is organised, reliable, and keen to grow with the business
Experience in fasteners, hardware, or industrial supplies is a bonus – but attitude beats experience every time.
